Overall, it was very nice but if one is not gambling or in the pool or spa, there's nothing else to do.
It was difficult to find out that the fitness center for everyone is on the 5th floor, and that the fitness center on the 3rd floor by the spa is exclusive to spa guests. The pool area was nice, very clean and clean bathrooms, too. The casino dealers were friendly, but the pit boss was not. They had a restricted viewing area for higher club members only, but nowhere enough seating outside, so it was standing room only throughout the fireworks show. We were there for the 4th of July, and the fireworks show was very nice.
The room's bathroom is impressive and roomy, well lit and beautifully fixtured. Their diner is, however, open 24/7, which is nice. I tried almost every restaurant, the food is the same at every one I tried, and the food is not very impressive.
It is located in a picturesque location in the Catskill Mountains in Monticello, just two hours from New York City. My pillow was dead, I had a hard time reaching the front desk by phone, finally they answered and I asked for new pillows, but they never arrived. Resorts World Catskills is a luxury entertainment and hospitality resort that opened its doors on Feb. Absolutely beautiful place, everywhere including the rooms VERY clean, friendly and mostly competent staff.
